Abstraksi
Work life balance is an important issue to be considered by all employees, especially nurses and institutional organizations. Nurses are faced with high role demands, especially for female nurses, where the tasks and responsibilities of activities that need to be completed at the same time, this will cause an imbalance in their personal lives. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and work life balance in female nurses in hospitals. The design of this correlation study used a cross-sectional approach. The research sample taken using cluster random sampling amounted to 92 female nurses. The research data was taken using a questionnaire sheet, then analyzed using the Spearmans rho test. The results showed that most (70.7%) female nurses experienced low social support and most (68.5%) female nurses also experienced low work life balance. Based on the results of the analysis using an ordinal scale with the Spearmans rho test, a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and an rs value of -0.610 were obtained, so H1 was accepted. There is a relationship between social support and work life balance in female nurses in hospitals. Based on the results of the study, it is expected that the hospital will provide attention and support in handling the tasks and responsibilities experienced by female nurses so that female nurses are able to organize and complete their work more optimally and well and can balance their personal life and work life
