Abstraksi

Introduction. Elderly anxiety about the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine is influenced by several factors including lack of knowledge and perception regarding vaccination. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and perception with elderly anxiety about Covid-19 vaccination in Lamongan Regency. Methods. The design of this research was analytic correlation with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 118 respondents were obtained using Multistage Random Sampling. After tabulation, the data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test with a significance level of 0.05 sig. Results. Results.The results showed that 60 respondents (50.84%) had less knowledge, 94 respondents (79.66%) had a poor perception, and 63 respondents (53.38%) experienced severe anxiety. Based on statistical tests, the degree of sig value was 0.00 (Sig <0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between knowledge and elderly anxiety in Covid-19 vaccination. It was obtained the degree of sig value of 0.00 (Sig <0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between perception and anxiety of the elderly in Covid-19 vaccination. Conclusion. Based on this research, it is expected that health workers will provide health education, with the hope that the elderly have good knowledge and good perceptions in order to reduce the anxiety they experience.
