Abstraksi

The poor performance of nursing services will also have an adverse effect on health services in hospitals. Less than optimal work situations occur because of work relations, work facilities, work climate, leadership policies, patterns of work leadership and working conditions that are not conducive. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between the implementation of nursing supervision and the performance of nurses in the VVIP and class 1 inpatient rooms at the Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital, Kediri. The research method used is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study were nurses at the VVIP and Class 1 inpatient rooms at the Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital, Kediri. The sampling technique uses total sampling. the independent variable is the implementation of supervision. the dependent variable is performance. the instrument uses a performance questionnaire and also the implementation of supervision. Statistical test using Spearman rho. The results of the study found that most of the respondents had good supervision, namely 25 nurses (73.5%) and high nurse performance, namely 30 nurses (88.2%). Spearmen's rho test obtained p = 0.006 (p <0.05) with Correlation Coefficient = 0.512, which means that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of supervision and nurse performance and has a fairly close relationship. It is necessary to continue to improve the quality of nursing supervision so that the performance of nurses is getting better and increasing nursing professionalism.
