Abstraksi
Documenting nursing care is an obligation for nurses as evidence of nursing responsibility and records in nursing actions. Inefficient and ineffective documentation causes communication errors between nurses and other professions. The research objective was to determine the relationship between nurse time management and nursing care documentation in the Class III Inpatient Room of RSMAD Kediri. The research design uses correlation analysis with cross sectional. Population of 50 nurses, using simple random sampling, obtained 44 nurses. The research data was taken using a time management questionnaire and an observation sheet for the documentation of nursing care. After being tabulated, the data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test with a significance level of p=0.05. The research results showed that there were 26 nurses with good time management and documentation of nursing care with a value of ρ = 0.000. This means that there is a relationship between nurse time management and nursing care documentation in class III inpatient rooms at RSMAD Kediri. To continue to need to improve the quality of nurse time management in the process of nursing care with several efforts that can be made by the head of the room, namely in the form of: motivating nurses, providing compensation and others.
