Abstraksi
Postoperative wounds will stimulate pain, complaints that are often felt after surgery (postoperative) patients feel very intense, moderate to mild pain and have an unpleasant experience due to inadequate pain. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of finger hold and back massage techniques on the pain scale of laparotomi postoperative patients in RSM Ahmad Dahlan Kediri. Thesis of the S1 Nursing Study Program, Muhammadiyah Lamongan University Design This research is pre experimental with one group pre post test design. The number of samples used was 54 pasients, using total sampling techniques, pain measuring instruments using questionnaires numeric scale pain The data analysis used was a paired T test with an error rate of p<0.05. The results of the study were obtained from 54 pasients, before finger hold and back massage techniques mean experienced severe pain (mean 6,7037), after being given finger hold and back massage techniques experienced mean moderate pain (mean 4,9 259) Based on the results above significant value p sign = 0.000. This means that there is an influence of finger hold and back massage techniques on the pain scale of postoperative laparotomi patients at Ahmad Dahlan Kediri Hospital.
