Abstraksi

Circumcision is a minor surgical procedure performed as a modification of a part of the body by making an incision in the prepurtium. The public's interest in performing circumcision using the Klamp technique is greater because it is believed to heal faster than circumcision using the laser technique. The design of this study was a post-test analysis of two group design to determine the effectiveness of the laser circumcision method and circumcision clamps on children's circumcision wounds. The population in this study were all boys who were circumcised during a circumcision activity at Baitul Khitan Kediri on 15 November-16 December 2022 with a total of 28 children. The sample used in this study were 28 boys who were circumcised at the Baitul Khitan Kediri. The research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire and a form that will be filled in by the accompanying parent or guardian and the researcher in the form of an attachment to a wound assessment by observation and interview There are differences in the methods of laser and clamp circumcision for child circumcision in Baitul Circumcision Kediri, namely circumcision in the laser method are mostly grade 1 and circumcision in the clamp method are mostly grade 0.
